Abstract

This study examines the Job Characteristics Model at Asia Energy Petrol Station and its impact on employee engagement. The sample includes 100 filling attendants (50% of the total 200) from the Mandalay Region. The study aims to describe the job characteristics and employee engagement and analyze how job characteristics affect engagement. Data were collected via questionnaires using simple random sampling. The research uses descriptive methods and regression analysis, applying the Job Characteristics Model.

The analysis shows autonomy and feedback significantly positively affect employee engagement. Based on these findings, Asia Energy Petrol Station should encourage employees to freely express opinions and disagree with supervisors without fear. The company should also promote independent thinking and action, form a research team to gather employee feedback, and provide constructive feedback to improve performance. More autonomy and frequent useful feedback are recommended to enhance employee engagement.
