Abstract

This paper introduces Project Velocity, an innovation model to expand Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) presence in emerging markets (Priority 2) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and Middle East and North Africa (MENAT). Countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey show growth potential, where cloud services face challenges in infrastructure, localization, sustainability, skills, and post-pandemic recovery.
