Abstract

This study explores the development of an employee performance evaluation system tailored to the unique structure and needs of iO Health, a Dubai-based joint venture formed in 2021 through the merger of two technology-driven companies. Led by the author in her capacity as Executive and Human Resources Director, the organization faces the challenge of aligning diverse management styles and operational practices, particularly within its predominantly IT workforce accustomed to agile environments. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in human resources, the author proposes a new performance assessment framework designed to address misalignments, enhance team cohesion, and improve evaluation practices for IT employees, while maintaining existing assessment methods for other departments.
