Abstract

Baselland International School is a private, bilingual international school in Oberwil, Switzerland. It began in 2002 as Kids Camp International (KCI), offering English camps and children’s events during school holidays. KCI was founded as a sole proprietorship by Ina Nicosia. In 2007, Kids Camp International School was established by Nicosia and her partner Bettina Schelker, forming Nicosia-Schelker AG (a limited company). In 2022, Schelker left the company, and Nicosia became sole owner, renaming it Baselland International School (BLIS). BLIS offers Nursery, Pre-School, Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary, Camps, After School Care, full food service, event space, Special Education, Adult Education, Extra Curricular Activities, and Supplemental Language Lessons in English, German, French, Italian, and Chinese.
