Abstract
This study aims to identify HRM practices in YPA Security Service Company and their effect on organizational commitment. The sample includes 120 employees (60%) from a total of 200 in YPA Security Service Company, Yangon Region. The study’s objectives are to describe HRM practices and examine their impact on organizational commitment. Data were collected using questionnaires and simple random sampling. The study employs descriptive research and regression analysis, applying Human Resource Management practices theory.
The analysis shows compensation and benefits have a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Based on this, YPA Security Service Company should design compensation packages that meet employee and organizational needs. The company should conduct salary surveys, establish fair pay scales, and consider higher industry pay levels. Additionally, annual bonuses based on financial performance should be offered. Non-monetary rewards like ‘employee of the month/year,’ annual social events, and holiday gifts should also be encouraged.
