Abstract
This thesis examines the viability of Alternalearn, an AI-powered, community-led educational platform designed as a disruptive alternative to traditional schooling. Rooted in the lived experiences and entrepreneurial journey of Lewis Raymond Taylor, founder of The Coaching Masters, the study integrates academic theory with strategic business planning to explore whether decentralised, technology-driven learning can offer a more inclusive, relevant, and scalable model for modern learners. In light of societal shifts, post-pandemic challenges, and the growing demand for personalised, skills-based education, this research evaluates Alternalearn’s operational framework, market potential, and capacity for global scalability. Employing action research and strategic analysis, the thesis demonstrates how founder-led innovation and adaptive, AI-enhanced systems may redefine education as a lifelong, flexible, and values-driven journey beyond the limitations of institutional models.
