Abstract

This research, titled “Beyond Silos in Property Management: Fostering Collaboration for Improved Practices”, investigates the limitations of fragmented approaches in property management and the potential of collaborative strategies to enhance industry outcomes. Traditionally, stakeholders in property management have operated in isolation, resulting in inefficiencies, miscommunication, and suboptimal performance. Adopting a cross-functional perspective, this study explores the benefits and challenges of collaborative property management, emphasizing improved communication, efficiency, and decision-making. Employing a mixed-methods approach—integrating qualitative and quantitative data collection—the research provides a nuanced understanding of stakeholder interactions and their impact on management practices. Findings highlight best practices and strategies for effective collaboration, offering valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers. Ultimately, the study contributes to the advancement of integrated property management, providing practical recommendations to strengthen industry performance, sustainability, and property value, while identifying areas for future research.
