Abstract:
This research explores low healthy meal consumption in UK secondary schools from behavioural, organisational, and managerial perspectives. Despite School Food Standards and public health measures, many students still choose unhealthy options, threatening health, operational efficiency, and sustainability. Current strategies rely solely on education and behavioural changes, overlooking the crucial organisational and managerial factors influencing school food choices.
